About me

Hi, I'm Juliana

By the time I was 21, I knew my life needed to shift. I was struggling with alcohol, drugs, legal issues, toxic relationships, an eating disorder. At 24, I got sober, yet even with a significant lifestyle change, life still felt like trudging through mud.

I tried everything: therapy, meditation, prescription meds, gratitude journaling, support groups, self-help books… and still, I felt anxious, frustrated, disconnected, and convinced something was wrong with me.

Then I discovered breathwork and my whole world opened up. For the first time, I experienced real self-love. The kind of self-love that transforms the way you move through life: the choices you make, the way you show up, the courage to honor your dreams and turn them into reality.

FAQs

What is breathwork?

Breathwork is an umbrella term that covers a wide range of practices, but most fall into one of three categories:

Functional breathing — optimizing how you breathe in daily life. Think nasal breathing, breath efficiency, and building habits that support your overall health and nervous system.

Nervous system regulation — shorter, targeted practices used to intentionally shift your state. Whether you need to calm down, wake up, or find your center, these tools work quickly and effectively.

Transpersonal / therapeutic breathwork — longer sessions, typically one to three hours, that use breath to evoke altered states, emotional expression, physical release, and deep somatic experiencing. This is the category that Holosomatic Breathwork lives in. These sessions can feel meditative, psychedelic, cathartic, or profoundly still — and often all of the above.

Holosomatic Breathwork is the methodology I teach, combining rhythmic breathing, intentional movement, NLP, and vocal toning to guide you into a deep, body-led healing experience. It’s a full journey, held in community, with carefully curated music and intentional facilitation.

Transpersonal styles of breathwork involve sustained altered states and significant physiological shifts, so there are some conditions that require caution or may make this style of breathwork inappropriate. Please consult your physician before attending if you have any of the following:

Cardiovascular problems, high or abnormal blood pressure, history of aneurysms, epilepsy or history of seizures, current use of heavy medication, severe psychiatric symptoms (particularly psychosis or paranoia), bipolar depression, osteoporosis, recent surgery, glaucoma, pregnancy, or any mental illness that is currently unmanaged or without adequate professional support.

If you’re unsure whether breathwork is appropriate for you, please reach out before registering. Your safety always comes first.

If you’re curious, you’re probably ready.

It also helps to ask yourself: Am I in a relatively stable place right now? Breathwork is powerful medicine, and like any medicine, it works best when you have some capacity to integrate what comes up. If you’re in acute crisis or without a support system, it may be worth waiting or pairing breathwork with ongoing therapeutic support.

When in doubt, reach out. I’m always happy to talk it through with you.

Psilocybin is a naturally occurring compound found in certain species of mushrooms. When ingested, it’s converted in the body to psilocin, which interacts with serotonin receptors in the brain to produce shifts in perception, emotion, and consciousness. Experiences can range from gentle and introspective to deeply visionary and somatic. Your experience is profoundly shaped by set (your mindset), setting (your environment), and the quality of facilitation holding the space.

Psilocybin has been used ceremonially by Indigenous cultures for thousands of years, and is now one of the most studied psychedelic compounds in modern clinical research, showing significant promise for depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, and end-of-life distress.

In Colorado, psilocybin is legal for personal use under the Natural Medicine Health Act (NMHA) and I am a licensed facilitator under this framework.

I also practice under Colorado’s personal use laws, which allow adults 21 and over to possess, use, and share natural medicines like psilocybin mushrooms in personal, non-commercial contexts. Under these laws, the medicine cannot be bought or sold, but it can be given. This means that while psilocybin is included in our work together, it is gifted to you as part of the experience, not sold as part of the service. The cost of my services covers facilitation, preparation, and integration support.

As for safety: psilocybin is considered physiologically non-toxic and non-addictive. That said, it is a powerful substance that requires proper preparation, a safe container, and skilled facilitation. It is not appropriate for everyone (see contraindications), and it is never something to approach casually. In the right context, with the right support, it can be profoundly healing.

A good starting place is asking yourself: What am I hoping to heal, understand, or open up to? Psilocybin tends to work best when there’s an intention behind the experience.

It’s also worth considering your current mental health landscape. If you have a history of psychosis, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder, psilocybin may not be appropriate for you. If you’re on SSRIs or other psychiatric medications, we’ll need to talk through that as part of intake.

There are also life circumstances that may suggest it’s better to pause on medicine work for now. These can include ongoing legal matters (such as divorce or custody proceedings), unstable or insecure housing, or involuntary unemployment.

The intention here isn’t to exclude, but to ensure that you’re entering this work from a place of sufficient stability and support, so the experience can be as safe, grounded, and beneficial as possible.

The best way to know is to have a real conversation. I offer free discovery calls for exactly this reason – no pressure, just an honest discussion about where you are and whether this is the right fit.

Every session is unique, shaped by each person’s life experiences and inner landscape. Some people cry or laugh; others feel deep peace, vivid imagery, fear, or emotional intensity. Some move or shake and make a lot of noise, while others are completely still and silent. Journeys typically last 4–8 hours depending on your dose.

What remains consistent is this: your body and psyche will reveal what you need, in the way you need it. My role is to hold the space, not to direct the experience.

Preparation matters. For breathwork, come well-hydrated, avoid heavy meals two to three hours before, and wear comfortable clothing you can move in. For psilocybin sessions, you’ll receive a detailed preparation guide that covers diet, mindset, and what to expect — we’ll also do at least one 2-hour prep session beforehand so you feel grounded and ready.

Integration is the process of making meaning from what arose in a session and weaving it into your daily life. It’s often where the deepest healing happens. After sessions, I encourage rest, gentle movement, time in nature, and journaling. For psilocybin clients, integration support is built into our work together. The experience doesn’t end when you leave — in many ways, that’s when it begins.

No. Beginners are always welcome. Whether this is your first session or your twentieth, you will be met exactly where you are.

No. You will be asked to arrange a ride home in advance — whether that’s a trusted friend, a partner, or rideshare. Your facilitator will stay in touch with your ride to keep them up-to-date on timing of pick-up. You will not be in a state to safely operate a vehicle after a psilocybin session, and driving under the influence of any substance is both dangerous and illegal. Planning ahead is important so that the only thing you have to do after your journey is rest, integrate, and take good care of yourself.

My full service package is $1,400 and includes everything you need to feel fully supported from beginning to end: a preparation session, a Holosomatic Breathwork session, the medicine journey itself, and two integration sessions. It’s a complete container designed to help you go deep, land well, and integrate appropriately.

Yes. I want this work to be accessible to everyone, and I never want cost to be the reason someone doesn’t get to experience it. If finances are a barrier, reach out — we’ll make something work.

I also offer a 30% discount for anyone with one or more years of recovery from substance use. This community deserves access to healing, and it’s my honor to support that.

Dosage is never one-size-fits-all. It depends on a number of factors — the potency of the strain, your goals, current medications, prior experience with plant medicines, lifestyle, and body weight. That said, a typical journey dose generally falls somewhere between 2 and 5 grams. We’ll discuss what feels right for you during your preparation session.

Yes. All of the medicine I use is tested by Friday Ventures in Evergreen, CO. Your safety and peace of mind matter, and knowing exactly what you’re working with is part of that.
